THE CARDBOARD CONTAINERS

In November 2005, JSC “Khiton” launched production of corrugated cardboard and cardboard packing. New manufacture is designed for release up to 70 mln. m2 corrugated cardboard per year and allows to cover not only Khiton’s needs for packing, but also to provide enterprises of Tatarstan with qualitative and inexpensive packing. The basic consumers of the cardboard containers traditionally are the enterprises of such branches, as food, chemical, pharmaceutical, building, tobacco, perfumery - cosmetic, etc. Taking into account significant industrial potential of Tatarstan and city of Kazan, the demand in packing manufacture constantly grows.

Floor spaces of JSC “Khiton” are equipped with the special equipment, allowing to issue 3-layer cardboard from only cellulose raw material. The integument layer can be both brown, and white, with an opportunity of drawing of a three-colored seal. All corrugated cardboard is made in precise conformity with GOST and TU, working in the cardboard industry.

For today the Republic of Tatarstan by right can be considered as the regional center of largest manufacture of the cardboard containers in Russia. The share of Tatarstan makes 15 % of the all-Russian manufacture. Taking into account growth of the industry of Kazan and other regions of Republic, annual growth of demand on high-quality cardboard containers is predicted.

The project “The Organization of manufacture of corrugated cardboard and the cardboard containers”, worked out JSC “Khiton” together with the Holding company “AK BARS”, started in March, 2005.

It took about half-year to organize of the new project. Reconstruction of the production site was carried out. The equipment for manufacture of corrugated cardboard and cardboard containers was delivered by “PETROMASH-SERVICE” company (S-Petersburg). The equipment was produced under the special request by the largest company “Trans Pack” (China). Delivery, commissioning, starting-up and adjustment of the equipment started in September at participation of technicians of the companies “Trans Pack ” and “PETROMASH-SERVICE” Production of corrugated cardboard started in November.

Alexander Mangushev, the technical expert of “Trans Pack” company, noted: “There is just a couple of such up-to-date equipment with application of the software. Capacities of the equipment during first time will allow to issue up to 70 mln. m2 corrugated cardboard per year, and enable to receive production which meets the requirements of the modern market. I’m sure that your clients will be satisfied with quality of products … ”.

Up to now our production has been working for more than half-year and the first parameters prove high profitability of manufacture, its urgency for development of “Khiton”
