AEROSOL

One of the basic directions at the enterprise is aerosol manufacture. Therefore a good deal of attention is given to this sphere. In 2005 year upgrade of the given direction is started. The new line of manufacture of tin cylinders, including the equipment for assembly of body blanks (Lanico, Germany) was acquired and set into operation, complete with the automatic device of 100 % leakage proof of cans (Bonfigliolly, Italy), and also the equipment for welding body blanks (Soudronic, Switzerland) productivity of 32 million tin cylinders in one year.

It allows company to make the high-quality cylinder corresponding to all European requirements:

• The cylindrical part of a body blank (обечайка) is made from European tinplate
• Internal and external protection of a welded seam is carried out

The given equipment allows making body blanks, diameter 45, 52 mm, various standard sizes on height (up to 280 mm).

The company plans to produce cans diameter 45 mm from June.

The given actions have allowed to increase essentially volume of manufacture of tinplate cans at the enterprise and to expand assortment.

The result has not kept itself waiting for a long time. By the time being the updated assortment of JSC “Khiton” includes such products, as air fresheners with bactericidal effect, perfume for a house, repellents, etc.

In 2006 we are planning to finish upgrade of manufacture of tinplate cans. The basic investments are planned to direct for modernization of a site of filling and mixing that will allow to increase output with 26 up to 60 million cans per year and to expand opportunities of the enterprise on contract manufacture.
